MUTICORE AND MASSIVELY PARALLEL
SYSTEM AT IBM

IBM has
developed since many years both massively parallel and multicore
systems. These technologies were originally implemented in different
systems but as time goes by, we see those technologies being merged
into the same system while their degree of parallelism is increasing.
This conference will describe both from a hardware and software
perspective why IBM started to develop such systems in 2004, where we
are now and what these systems may look like in the future.
