Digital and Computer Science Week (DCS) at IDRIS

On the occasion of DCS Week, which took place from 8 December to 12 December 2025, we welcomed first and final year students specialising in DCS from the Lycée de l’Essouriau in Les Ulis.

This visit took place in the presence of Mrs Anne Le Henanff, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty, accompanied by Mrs Anne-Sophie Elain, Deputy Secretary General of the Essonne Prefecture and Deputy Prefect in charge of the mission, as well as Mrs Adeline Nazarenko, Director of CNRS Computer Science, Mr Marian Scuturici, Deputy Scientific Director and Mr Pierre-François Lavallée, Director of IDRIS.

The students began their visit with a general presentation of IDRIS, and then had the opportunity to enjoy the presence of Mrs the Minister for a privileged exchange.

They also discovered the IDRIS museum, participated in a workshop on generative AI awareness, and visited the machine room where the Jean Zay supercomputer is hosted.

Finally, the meeting concluded with a feedback session from staff who had recently joined IDRIS after completing their training.

A big thank you to everyone for these moments of sharing!
