Science Festival 2025

IDRIS participated in the 2025 Science Festival
On the occasion of the CNRS Unusual Visits, IDRIS opened its doors to the public for a new edition full of discoveries. Four visits were on the program, including two on Saturday afternoon featuring the visit to the machine room and the infrastructures.
Our visitors were thus able to travel to the heart of the Jean Zay supercomputer and explore, through our museum, the evolution of scientific computing over time. They also participated in several workshops, notably:
- Introduction to HPC and computer code parallelization to be able to exploit the power of a supercomputer.
- AI Demonstration featuring photos of participants on various themes, integrated into Jean Zay's visual universe.
📽️ Relive the highlights of the day through the video directed by Elsa Mimouni.
